The Down Arts Centre presents ‘The Silent Life of Things’, an exhibition of work by Stephen Budd. Using digital technology, Budd displays his practice of still life painting, and explores the benefits of working from life, rather than from photographs. Later in June, the centre hosts their Annual Schools Exhibition, showcasing the work of secondary school art students from local schools. In August, as part of craft month, ‘Seven Shades’ will bring together the work of seven ceramicists working with porcelain and bone china. Image: Anne Butler
