At the Centre Culturel Irlandais, Paris, photographer Daragh Soden’s ‘Ladies & Gentlemen’ presents a series of large-format portraits that raise questions about gender roles and the performative nature of identity. Placing himself both behind and in front of the lens, Soden addresses the sometimes awkward relationship between artist and sitter.
