‘Connemara UnConstrained’ at Oughterard Courthouse marks a new stage in Geraldine Folan’s artistic practice. Following a move from the coast to the more inland area around Lough Corrib, Folan changed her subject matter and painting style, embracing abstraction and a mixed-media approach.
