Painter James Hayes spent six months living and working on
the Great Blasket Island as one of its seasonal caretakers. In
the exhibition ‘On the Edge and In-Between’ at Siamsa Tíre, Tralee, Hayes reflects on the contemporary life of the island as well as exploring its relationship to the past.
