Saidhbhín Gibson’s ‘With Inclined Ear’ at The Tea Houses incorporates a film of the same title and photographic work. Over the seasons, Gibson filmed a flock of Wicklow Cheviot sheep and then spliced her recordings with footage of wool-making processes, including hand-carding and spinning. The work follows the farm-to-fibre journey of wool, interrogating the commodification of animals and wildlife habitats.
