‘As Kingfishers Catch Fire: Animals and Imagination’ at Limerick City Gallery of Art explores the theme of animality in Western culture – past, present and future. The exhibition features Irish and international artists who have used non-human animals in their work. The line-up includes Steve Baker, Michael Beirne, Jennifer Brady, El Gato Chimney, Marcus Coates, Dorothy Cross, Anselmo Fox, Charles Fregér, Martin Healy, Patricia Looby, Alice Maher, Marie McKinney, Dermot Seymour, Rebecca Stevenson and Katie Watchorn.
As Kingfishers Catch Fire: Animals and Imagination: until 14 February
