In his ‘Songs and the Soil’, Mark Garry transforms the Limerick City Gallery of Art into an indoor meadow, filled with dried flowers and porcelain vessels. There is also an ambitious six-hour sound installation, created through field recordings. The exhibition features a new film work, An Lucht Siúil (The Walking People), which looks at the relationship between Irish Travellers, modernism and the State.
