‘Dysphoric Euphoria’ at the Highlanes Gallery, Drogheda presents work by Peter Bradley and Stephen Doyle, exploring the joys and hardships of queer experience through painting. Doyle’s work allows discomfort to become tangible through their handling of paint and installation work, depicting themes of oppression and systematic power. In contrast, Bradley’s work celebrates community, joy as a form of resistance, and liberation through collages of paint and Plexiglas.
