‘A Moving Journey’ at The Hamilton Gallery shows work from the two artists Brid Higgins Ní Chinnéide and John Behan. The human figure features in most of Ní Chinnéide’s work and in this exhibition, she extends her study of the figure and investigates how bodily movement can be portrayed in paint. Motion and movement have been at the centre of the work of sculptor John Behan. His work brings his subjects such as Irish mythology, political and social history of past centuries into animated perspective.
