‘Crossing Permissions’, an exhibition by Sinéad O’Donnell, continues at the Millennium Court Arts Centre. This year-long project saw O’Donnell travel, live and work with women in Asia, South America and Northern Ireland, and the exhibition features elements from each residency. Following this, the Centre hosts ‘Anne Acheson, A Sculptor in War and Peace’ and ‘CAST’, a group show. The former showcases the work of Portadown-born sculptor Acheson, who is perhaps best known for her pioneering work in using plaster of Paris splints on injured servicemen during World War I. In response to this exhibition, ‘CAST’ will present a contemporary response to Acheson’s life and work.
Sinéad O’Donnell: until 27 March; Anne Acheson and CAST, 6 April – 18 May
