‘An Ciúnas – The Silence’, at The Showroom in London is an exhibition of work by artist Marianne Keating. An immersive, three-channel film installation, it brings together narratives addressing Irish migration and colonialism and their legacy. From the recruitment of indentured labourers to more recent waves of migration to Britain, Keating re-examines and documents these histories.
