At London’s Purdy Hicks Gallery, ‘The Night Side of Nature’ is staged in association with RAW – Rediscovering Art by Women – and is inspired by the mystical works of Ithell Colquhoun. Claire Kerr and Alice Maher feature among the exhibiting artists, who explore Colquhoun’s deep engagement with Surrealist ideas and the occult, drawing connections between her mystical approach to nature and her relevance to today’s often fragmented and chaotic world.
