Dublin-born photographer Joe Barnes’ exhibition ‘Memories through the Lens’ is at the Athlone Art Gallery. A barrister by profession, Barnes has been taking photographs for many years. An eclectic mix of landscape, portrait and street photography, the exhibition chronicles everyday life and the alchemy of eye, lens and darkroom.
