At the Mermaid Arts Centre, Bray, ‘Composting Colonialism: Towards the Radical Garden’, poses the question: what does it mean to decolonise the garden? With work by Samantha Brown, Padraig Cunningham, Grace Enemaku, Yvanna Greene, Louis Haugh, Marianne Keating, Elida Maiques, Siobhán McGibbon, Laura Ní Fhlaibhín and Harold Offeh, the exhibition considers the effects and legacy of colonialism, horticulture and the garden as a status symbol.
