My work captures the temporality of emotion by creating an archive of images that embodies present feelings that remain frozen in time. The act of traversing the urban environment and paying mindful attention to overlooked details has become a practice of self-care. Recording these seemingly insignificant moments within city landscapes has become a part of my everyday routine as a means of grounding myself and remaining present. Through my work, unheeded details are given the space to become extraordinary. For a moment, these details occupy the centre of my attention and the whole of my frame, turning in to held images as affective surface. By giving thoughtfulness to the unseen intricacies of the spaces I inhabit, I invite you to ask – who or what is really in the details?
