Class of 2023

I am a visual artist from county Wexford. My practice is a form of magical naturalhistory; a fictional narrative of an existing world. Using sculpture, film, sound andlight, I create immersive installations which probe the relationship between Earthand the imagination. Influenced by science fiction, I combine natural and syntheticmaterials in order to speculate upon new methods of understanding. This year, I have shown work with Laneway Gallery in County Cork, glòr inCounty Clare, and Kilkenny Arts Office. I will be exhibiting new work this Septemberat IMMA’s Earth Rising festival, and in Germany in 2024. My ongoing installationseries, Past, Present, Future was exhibited in 2022 at the LAB Gallery and IMMA.My micrography series, Genescape, was published in SEED: Objects of WonderJournal in 2022. I completed my BFA at TU Dublin. My graduate work was chosenfor exhibition at the 2021 RDS Visual Art Awards at the RHA and received the ImageNow Purchase award.
