For my final project, I was tasked to create a coworking office space for creatives local to Howth, Ireland, ensuring the space was creatively stimulating, promotes collaboration, provides a variety of working environments, adheres to technical guidance documents, applies sustainable design, and incorporates Universal Design practices. My concept is Perspective. Formed by an initial inspiration from the historical pneumatic tube systems, and their use within, and between office buildings, to transferring messages, and packages. This project features elements that mimic these pneumatic tubes, both literally and metaphorically, allowing the transport of the creative users' unique perspectives within the Perspective Creative Office Space. This has been applied to an office environment, using private office spaces that mimic the form of pneumatic tubes, and shared workspaces, that promote the sharing and transfer of ideas, promoting the transference of individual perspectives formed from by each user's unique experiences.
