My work deals with feelings of wanderlust and it endeavors to portray a romanticized idea of the primal nature of humans. The work examines the Aboriginal people of Australia and how they inhabit the landscape. I embrace the accidents and chance that can occur during the painting process; how they can allow the painting to achieve a new dialogue that goes beyond representation.
