My final year project, Under Your Nose: An Alternative History of Fragrance, is a 120-page illustrated book-length poem presenting a decolonised history of fragrance from the beginning of time to now. My work considers the stories of diverse voices of colour often overlooked in western tellings of the intangible. Disseminating big topics to younger audiences through tactile making. Paints, pastels, pencils and perfume illustrate worlds that inspire important conversations within children.
