This piece is a metaphorical visualisation of a poem which reflects upon the natural process of growth and decay within human relationships. The poem uses water as a metaphor for the stages of a simultaneously growing and decaying relationship. The character in the piece reflects upon this duality, initially fearing it but eventually learning to accept it.
