I am a photographer based in Dublin, and my practice spans moving image, street photography, and portraiture. Working primarily with monochrome digital photography, my work is rooted in observation and focuses on the relationship between people and their environment. My practice is concerned with technology, everyday life, and the experience of the individual within contemporary society. Through a documentary-led approach, I explore how modern systems, routines, and urban spaces shape human interaction and identity. Alongside still photography, I also incorporate moving image into my practice, allowing me to further examine atmosphere, rhythm, and human presence across different forms of visual storytelling.Caesura is a project examining themes of grief and the unknown. From the beginning of my college journey to its end, I have both lost a father and become one. This project seeks to explore the life-changing duality of these two all-encompassing transitions. Using a surrealist approach, I seek to confront and understand the interplay between the emotions and realities that these equally impactful experiences bring.
