My Head Is Too Big for My Jumper. And Maybe Yours Is Too. - My inaugural animated short serves as an exploration of the frustrations experienced by Ireland's younger population regarding their country. Specifically, the emotional dichotomy of deep affection for a place that feels unreciprocating. Like a favourite jumper you just can’t quite squeeze into. While it is told from a Gen Z perspective, I aimed to have it resonate with all Irish people across generations, nodding to the cycle of emigration. As a graduate of Moving Image Design from NCAD Dublin, I specialize in digital motion graphics, 2D and 3D animation, and video editing. I thrive on meticulous detail, diverse software, and communicating human experiences. I find my inspiration for a lot of my work in the everyday, the people and places around me, and I constantly daydream about visuals that could fit with certain sounds, music or stories. This final piece is the culmination of all these passions.
