This series of paintings depict temporary, fragile structures inhabited by anonymous figures confined within the landscape and the relationship between formal elements and painterly, gestural brushstrokes. These paintings are abstracted depictions spontaneously painted from memory and the imagination using Acrylics, Oil and Pastels inspired by Mamma Anderson, Merlin James and Vuillard.
