The work is interested in using wet on wet techniques to find ways of reaching a point of dissolve, where the pattern is at the point or moment of collapse. It is through this process of articulation that something unexpected and unarticulated comes into being. In other words, the paintings show something you hadn’t seen or been aware of prior to their beginning.
