I am Mai Bes, a media artist, most interested in digital drawing, animation and game and character design. My practice is dedicated to depicting life as it is from a perspective of a person with depression and BPD, which greatly affects my own point of view. BPD is a condition, which makes all the feelings extra bright and significant to the person, and I aim to represent this world full of exaggerated feelings, the reflection of it mostly decided by the inner world instead of the actual events and context. My main inspirations are Vincent Van Gogh and Henri Matisse, who also were showing reality through the perspective of their inner world.
