I am an Irish multidisciplinary artist based between Dublin and Galway. My practice is driven by an interest in geometry as a visual language that connects historical traditions with speculative futures. Influenced by my travels through the Middle East and Asia, I draw on the intricate patterns of Persian architecture and traditional crafts while exploring contemporary ideas shaped by science, technology, and science fiction. Working across installation, textiles, and dye sublimation, I challenge conventional approaches to painting by treating wool, fabric, and thread as painterly materials that stretch beyond the frame and into space. My site-specific installations occupy the threshold between two and three dimensions, responding intuitively to their surroundings and inviting viewers to experience hidden spatial relationships. Through layering geometric imagery with organic forms such as tree rings, I investigate the shared structures that exist between nature and human design. Neon colour palettes and glitch-inspired aesthetics reflect the tensions between order and disruption, tradition and technological intervention. By repurposing materials historically associated with craft, I examine the place of textile practices within the canon of fine art. My multidisciplinary approach allows me to continually experiment with material, process, and space, exploring the relationship between geometry, perception, and the built environment.
