Known for its exciting arts programme, the forty-eight Birr Vintage Week and Arts Festival presents a Visual Arts Trail and Open Submission Exhibition. The Trail will showcase the work of around 100 visiting and local artists in a series of pop-up exhibitions at vacant units in the town. The Open Submission Exhibition has been curated by Philip Ryan, who will also give a number of masterclasses, focusing on approaches to still life and landscape painting. A range of classes and workshops will run throughout the duration of the festival.
