A number of graduate shows take place through June at different venues around the country. In Cork, students of the Crawford College of Art and Design present ‘Cooked!’ a collaboration between fifty-nine artists from the Fine Art and Contemporary Applied Art courses. A student-led process, and supported through public fundraising, the final exhibition demonstrates the different backgrounds and practices of the students. For their show, the students of the Art Department at Sligo Institute of Technology return to The Dock with a survey exhibition of BA (Hons) students, ranging across a diverse range of disciplines. Students from a range of courses at DIT present ‘Uncover’ at the new Grangegorman campus, which includes film, sculpture, and photography. Also at DIT, the new Creative Arts Masters Platform will provide programmes that combine studio practice with intellectual and historical inquiry, across Fine Art, Interior Design, Visual Communications, Product Design and Visual and Critical Studies. In Limerick, students from the Limerick School of Art and Design show their work at the Clare Street Campus. The exhibition will include work by the first graduating class of two recently established programmes: Photography and Lens-based Media and Animation and Motion Design.
