At the Solomon Gallery, Eamon Colman presents a body of paintings and mixed-media works informed by sights and stories connected to his local landscape. Layering ideas with materials, the artist forms vibrant and dynamic compositions. A professional artist since 1979, Coleman has exhibited widely in Ireland and abroad. His contribution to Irish art was recognised in 2007 by his election to Aosdána, the Irish academy of the arts.
