At the Galway International Arts Festival, David Mach exhibits a site-specific installation, ‘Burning Down the House’, at the Festival Gallery. Other major exhibitions include Erin Lawlor’s ‘Divinity’ at the Festival Printworks Gallery; ‘Funeral for Ashes’ by John Conneely and Conor Maloney at the GIAF’s Climate Lab, and work by Laura O’Connor and Leann Herlihy at the Galway Arts Centre. A group exhibition, ‘This Too Will Pass’, at INTERFACE, Lough Inagh, features work by Richard Long and others; Darran McGlynn shows new sculpture at the 126 Artist-Run Gallery; Hazel O’Sullivan at the Outset Gallery; Joan Sugrue at Engage Art Studios; Jane Cassidy and Arts Alive at the Aula Maxima, University of Galway, and Kat Austen at The Shed, Galway Harbour.
