The Clifden Arts Festival (17–28 September) is always a big draw and has a strong visual arts contingent. TheWhitethorn Gallery hosts a group exhibition whose featured artists include: Olga Krimon, Martin Mooney, Mark O’Neill, Vladimir Volegov, Aldo Balding, James Brohan, Ann McKenna, Eileen Meagher, David Coyne and Brenda Malley.
