At the 61st Venice Biennale, Northern-Ireland-born painter Mark Francis exhibits in a new venue, the Tana Art Space, formerly a timber and coal warehouse. Representing San Marino, Francis has created a new body of work, ‘Sea of Sound’, that builds on his longstanding exploration of the physical and poetic relationships between art, sound and science.
