Avril Corroon contributes to ‘Flare-Up’, a group exhibition at Goldsmiths Centre for Contemporary Art in London that explores themes of illness, disability, neurodivergence and deafness. Corroon examines the relationship between housing conditions, health and structural inequality and focuses on damp and substandard living environments in cities such as London and Dublin, highlighting how issues of poverty and housing directly impact physical and mental health.
