In ‘Land Memory’, at the Grilse Gallery, Killorglin, Wendy Dison presents paintings, etchings and sculpture. Over the last few years, Dison has been considering the idea of shelter, physical and emotional, within the landscape. In her work, the artist explores shadow and light, internal and external space, the interplay between representation and abstraction, and feelings of absence and grief.
