Fernhill, the garden at Sandyford, county Dublin, that has been open to the public for the last twenty-eight years, has had a change of ownership. The property has been bought from the Walker family by the Dublin businessman, David Arnold, who has also assumed financial responsibility for the garden. So, the contribution to Irish horticulture made at Fernhill by a series of Dublin business and professional families over two centuries continues. Lying at the base of the Three Rock Mountain, it consists of forty acres of parkland, woodland, rockery and garden.
