Brian McAvera previews new work from Brian Henderson at the Taylor Galleries in Dublin this autumn

It is difficult to ‘get a handle’ on the artist Brian Henderson who was born in Wicklow in 1950, was turned down by the National College of Art & Design in the late 1960s, and seems to have worked with both the Project Arts Centre and the Living Art crowd in the late 1960s. In an article by him entitled ‘Revisiting The Highway’ he mentions a solo show at the Project in late 1971, though this does not appear on his CV. He is however working on the development of his website which will contain a detailed biography
