As a photographer, Aidan Kelly uses both traditional analogue and digital techniques to create works that draw on street photography and offer a commentary on Dublin City and how it has evolved over the years. His project, ‘Ordinary Love’, exhibited at Rathfarnham Castle, reckons with these changes and his personal relationship to a city in flux. A series of photographs taken around the Spire on O’Connell Street that explores themes of uncertainty, paralysis and hope is on display.
