Artist Niamh Coffey utilises drawing, print and textiles to present a metamorphosing queer world of Irish folklore. Her ‘Siúnta’ at Cultúrlann McAdam Ó Fiaich weaves tufted, collaged and appliqué textiles into disparate narratives of imagined ecological systems. Juste Bernotaite’s exhibition ‘Ka Mato Dangus/What the Sky Sees’, explores the deep connection between land, trauma and memory through textured paintings.
