Padraig McCaul’s exhibition ‘Ties that Bind’ at the Doorway Gallery explores themes of connection in relation to place and family. The artist recently moved from Achill Island to Mullingar, but the pull of the island and the Atlantic remains strong in his landscape and figurative works.
