Gormley’s Fine Art in Dublin have two exhibitions through autumn: ‘Bread and Butter Paintings’ by Conor Walton and ‘Fold’ by Peter Monaghan. Walton has established an international career exhibiting extensively worldwide, with recent solo shows in Britain, Denmark, Norway and America. Following this, Monaghan will show structures made of card and paper which have been bent and folded into new shapes. This work is based on Origami methods, using stark black and crisp white backgrounds.
