In ‘Near and Far Away’ at the Kevin Kavanagh Gallery, photographer Michael Boran draws on and rephotographs images from his engagement with photography that began in the late 1970s. The artist explores John Berger’s description of photography as a medium of ‘light and time’, and how it can exist in a world of strange reoccurrences and connections.
