The new Coach House Gallery in Dublin Castle houses two exhibitions in September, curated by Bryan Murphy of the Peppercanister Gallery. ‘Europe & Beyond’ sees ceramic sculptors from Ireland, Britain, Europe and Japan come together to present their own unique expressions to an Irish audience. An exhibition of jewellery by Dutch artist, Sonja Landweer, will also be on display. Working in contemporary jewellery and body sculpture since the early 1960s, Landweer has pioneered designs using materials such as beads, slate, wood, bone and leather.
