Joanna Hopkins’ ‘Fruity Bodies’ at the dlr LexIcon explores folklore, landscape and the human form. Using foraged materials and plant dyes from hedgerows and fields to create sculpture, embroidery, photography and video, Hopkins considers the female body in relation to folkloric and medicinal plants, making connections between human and non-human entities through her local landscape.
