At the Duke Street Gallery, Clare Hartigan exhibits ‘Narratives’ – a series of sixteen paintings that focus on family and children, and their relationship with and enjoyment of nature. Hartigan’s paintings are playful, uplifting and joyful, created through the artist’s individual approach and technique and filled with movement, energy and light. A printmaker by training, Hartigan’s paintings employ delicate bands of colour dancing across a white, monochromatic backdrop.
