An exhibition of paintings at the Irish Georgian Society’s headquarters in the City Assembly House celebrates the Irish walled garden. The society commissioned the paintings from four artists who are specialists in this area: Alison Rosse, Lesley Fennell, Maria Levinge and Andrea Jameson. Pictures of some of Ireland’s finest walled gardens are in the show, from Birr Castle, Lismore Castle to Glin Castle. There are also views of lesser-known gardens not open to the public.
