‘Mór 2019’, an exhibition of large-scale original prints, opens at the Graphic Studio Gallery. Original prints are not frequently made in expansive dimensions, partially due to the physical constraints that the various mediums and printmaking apparatus can impose upon artists. This show presents work by artists who have created large-format editions, often pushing the limit of size constraint. Artists include Des Kenny, Cliona Doyle, Kate MacDonagh, Shane O’Driscoll and Gráinne Cuffe, as well as visiting artists who have worked at the Studio, such as Tony O’Malley, John Noel Smith, Maser, Maria Simonds Gooding and Gwen O’Dowd.
