Sean Molloy’s work investigates the relevance of painting in a digital world. In ‘Headland: a John Heysham Love Project’ at the Molesworth Gallery, Molloy experiments with traditional, Baroque-inspired themes and overpainted elements associated with digital imagery to create capriccio-type fantasy scenes and miniature tondo or circular portraits.
