The Olivier Cornet Gallery presents an exhibition of oil paintings by Daniel Lipstein, which explores memory, presence and emotion. Fish motifs in Lipstein’s work reference ‘an ancient creature that reflects the antiquity of species’. The artist’s painting Farewell to a Loved One ‘is dedicated to my late mother, is a letter to her. Its visual language feels like a completion of a message or a prayer.’
