In ‘(R)oars’ at Draíocht, Michelle Hall explores the symbol of the oar as a tool of navigation – an object that keeps things afloat and moving forward. Through drawings, text and moving image works, Hall explores the emotional world and experiences of the psyche, rooting the exhibition in ideas of home and personal grounding through creative practice.
