Declan Campbell’s exhibition of paintings ‘The Sense of Wonder in the Ordinary’ shows at the Ireland Institute in Pearse Street. Campbell is inspired by the poetry of Patrick Kavanagh. His subjects are drawn from the everyday domestic environment – cartons, sponges, food packaging and glass bottles in layered, textural forms.
